A wind turbine 262ft (80m) high will cast an industrial shadow over the historic parishes of Marnoch and Rothiemay in the River Deveron Valley

This turbine will -
Harm the settled and intimate landscape of the
“Deveron Valley Area of Landscape Significance”.
Including the skylines from Aberchirder, Grange, Knock and
large areas of Rothiemay and east Moray.
Have a significant impact on historic places including Marnoch
Old Church, Cemetery, Stone Circle and Crombie Castle.
Harm tourism and the local economy.
Create unacceptable noise levels to neighbours.
Add to the cumulative effect of turbines from Tap o’Noth,
Bennachie and Knock Hill.
Open the way for more turbines on the same ridge.
